The Trading Desk is your primary interface for managing your active Degen Pet. After purchasing Trading Desk access (or if you already had it upon connecting), you'll typically land here or navigate here frequently.

Key Components of the Trading Desk View:

  1. Active Pet Slots (Up to 4):

    • The main area displays four distinct slots. These represent the maximum number of Pets that can be actively trading for you at any one time.

    • Empty Slot: An empty slot will typically show a placeholder or a button prompting you to [Assign Pet] from your Collection.

    • Occupied Slot: When a Pet is assigned, you'll see its visual representation (initially an icon or placeholder image*) within the slot. Key status information is displayed directly here:

      • Pet Image/Icon: Identifies the Pet.

      • Mood Bar: A visual indicator (e.g., green/yellow/red bar) showing the Pet's current Mood level. Crucial for monitoring well-being.

      • Status: A clear text indicator showing what the pet is currently doing:

        • Trading: [Market] [Timeframe] (e.g., Trading: BTC/USDT 1h)

        • Sleeping: [Time Remaining] (e.g., Sleeping: 4h 21m left)

        • Idle (Assigned but waiting for market/timeframe selection, or not yet started)

      • Pet Name/ID: Clearly identifies the specific Pet NFT in that slot.

    • Interacting with Slots: Clicking on an occupied Pet Slot typically selects that Pet, enabling actions in the Info/Action Panel (see below).

  2. Selected Pet Info / Action Panel:

    • This panel (often located below or adjacent to the Pet Slots) displays detailed information and actions for the currently selected Active Pet.

    • Inactive State: When no Pet Slot is selected, this panel might be greyed out or display a message like "[Select an Active Pet]".

    • Active State: When you click an occupied Pet Slot, this panel becomes active and shows:

      • Selected Pet's Name/ID and Species.

      • Buttons/Dropdowns to Assign/Change Market.

      • Buttons/Dropdowns to Assign/Change Timeframe. (Initially 1m*, 5m*, 15m*, 1h*, 4h*)

      • Button to Use Item on this Pet (opens item selection).

      • Button to Send to Collection (makes the Pet inactive and removes it from the desk slot).

      • Link/Button to view the Pet's full Details Page.

  3. Overall Stats / Quick Links (Often Present):

    • Somewhere on the Dashboard, you'll usually find a summary of your overall account status:

      • Current $DGPT Balance.

      • Maybe a quick view of recent overall PnL.

    • Quick navigation links to other key areas like your full , the , , , and .

Core Actions from the Trading Desk:

  • Assigning Pets from your Collection to active slots.

  • Assigning specific Markets and Timeframes to your active Pets to start their trading simulation.

  • Monitoring the Mood and Status of your active Pets at a glance.

  • Quickly accessing actions like using Items or changing market assignments for active Pets.

  • Removing Pets from the active roster back to your Collection.

Mastering the Trading Desk view is key to efficiently managing your active trading team.
