Phase 1 -> Phase 2 Shift

Degen Pets is designed with a planned economic evolution:

  • Phase 1 (PvE - "Distribution"): Focuses on earning $DGPT from the finite PvE Reward Pool through simulated trading against the market. Players build their collections and accumulate $DGPT.

  • The Trigger: Phase 2 begins automatically when the PvE Reward Pool balance is depleted. This transition point will be clearly visible and communicated.

  • Phase 2 (PvP - "The Arena"): PvE trading rewards cease. The primary trading mechanism shifts to an internal PvP order book where Pets trade directly against each other. Players must fund their Pet's trading activities using their previously earned or acquired $DGPT. Trading becomes zero-sum between participants, shifting $DGPT focus from emission-earning to risk capital and competitive winnings. Core $DGPT sinks (Forging, Lab, Items) and non-PvE reward sources (Achievements, Tournament Pools) remain active.

  • Phase 3 (EvE - "Asset Reduction"): Forging cost: 2 Pet Nfts + 50 $DGPT. Mints Cybernetic NFT with assigned "reseaerch" markers based on choosen pets strategies and parameters.
